Sunshine in a glass. Citrus and apricot first, then dried mandarin peel and flowers, and orange peel and white peach on a lingering finish. There is real weight behind the perfume.
Pour it with seafood, roast chicken, pasta or buttered vegetables. A white for proper lunches.
From Château de Gourdon's south-facing slopes near Bollène in the Southern Rhône, off forty-year-old vines on sandy loam. Pressed gently with the juice separated by quality, fermented cool, then left on its fine lees through the winter. That winter on the lees is where the texture comes from. Tikveš bought the estate in 2018.
Pale lemon. Citrus, apricot, dried mandarin peel and flowers. Dry, with medium acidity and a medium-plus body. Orange peel and white peach on a lingering finish.
Seafood. Chicken. Pasta. Buttered vegetables.
