A crisp white and a fruit-forward red, together in one wine gift set. Smederevka is citrus, green apple and stone fruit, with a clean finish. Kratošija is redcurrant, cherry and red berries, with a little spice. Pour the white with grilled fish or a salad. Save the red for roast meats or moussaka. It makes a good present for someone who likes wine, or a simple first order for yourself. We put these two together to be an easy first purchase from the range.
In the set
Smederevka. Pale and crisp, with tropical and stone fruit over zesty citrus. Good with salads, light meals and poultry. Serve at 10 to 12°C.
Kratošija. Bright and mouth-filling, brambly and spicy, with plenty of fruit. The grape is genetically identical to Zinfandel. Good with game and pulled pork. Serve at 16 to 18°C.
Both are Tikveš wines from North Macedonia, and each grape is bottled on its own.
