Chardonnay with a little Rhine Riesling in it. White flowers and pear first, then citrus and wet stone, a gently oily texture and a long lemon-cream finish.
It belongs near the sea. Mussels, sea perch, grilled white meat, a Mediterranean salad, a light creamy pasta.
We chose it for the middle of the range. Enough texture to hold a meal, enough freshness to start one. It comes off thirty hectares of regosol soil from vines fifteen to twenty years old, picked at the end of August.
